Why Try SUP Boarding in Dubrovnik?

Moving at a slower pace allows you to fully enjoy the scenery, stop for swimming and discover coastal landmarks that are best experienced from the water. SUP is suitable for beginners and experienced paddlers alike and does not require prior experience.

SUP Route Along Dubrovnik's Coastline

The recommended paddleboard route follows the coastline, starting from Banje Beach and heading east and south along Dubrovnik's shore. Along the route, you can enjoy views of:

• Dubrovnik Old Town and City Walls from the sea
• Historic landmarks and quiet swimming spots

Betina Cave – A Perfect Swimming Stop

One of the highlights of the SUP route is Betina Cave, a natural sea cave accessible only from the water. This sheltered spot is ideal for a short break and a refreshing swim in crystal-clear water, surrounded by cliffs and rocky formations.

Villa Šeherezada & Sveti Jakov Beach

Continuing along the coastline, you'll pass Villa Šeherezada, one of Dubrovnik's most recognizable villas, perched above the cliffs and known for its white facade and blue dome. The route then leads toward Sveti Jakov Beach, a peaceful beach offering a beautiful and slightly different view of the Old Town and surrounding coastline.

Lazareti, Lokrum & City Walls

At the beginning and end of the route, you'll paddle past the historic Lazareti, a 17th-century quarantine complex from the time of the Dubrovnik Republic. Throughout the experience, you'll enjoy views of Dubrovnik's impressive City Walls and the rugged shoreline of Lokrum Island.

SUP Rental – Flexible and Beginner Friendly

SUP boards can be rented throughout the day, but the early morning and late afternoon offer the calmest sea and the most pleasant paddling conditions. Before departure, our team provides basic instructions and safety guidance.

2 hours – €30 per person / per SUP

3 hours – €40 per person / per SUP
